On the subject of death, just keep letting them work at it. We were driving by the place we had my mother's viewing at the other day and Nora turns and says, "That's where we sent Grandma to heaven.' They really do deal with it better then adults give them credit for. She talks to Grandma all the time and draws her pictures and tells me what she thinks Grandma gets to do in heaven.
The armpit this is great. Nora had alot of trouble with wrists and ankles and now at four and a half still has trouble with the names of meals by the time of day. Everything gets called dinner when she isn't really thinking about it.

Death is a hard, hard subject especially in a case when it's hard for you to even understand. I am so sorry about the loss of your niece, Mattie. It sounds like your girls have a good grasp of the concept. I know Alexa would just love to be playing with Disney characters and sweet babies.
